Kamloops and District Humane Society

The kamloops and district humane society assists companion animals in distress whether they are abandoned injured feral or homeless. Animals are placed into family run foster homes given medical treatment spayed or neutered vaccinated and tattooed or microchipped before being placed into permanent loving homes. The society operates the big fix spay and neuter program which assists people to have their pets sterilized. This very successful program has helped thousands of owners who otherwise could not have afforded surgery and has prevented many litters. The kamloops and district humane society continues to expand it's programs in our community. From satellite adoption locations to diverse fundraising efford to low cost spay and neuter programs our animal rescue efforts continue to expand and thereby allows us to help more animals in need as well as their owners.
