The purpose of the society is to: 1) relieve poverty by constructing maintaining and operating residential housing and incidental facilities at below market rates for low-income individuals and families of all generations of society; and 2) relieve conditions associated with aging and disability by: - providing specially designed residential accommodation for elderly persons and persons with disabilities including facilities; - providing programs to alleviate conditions associated with aging and disability such as recreational programs and events classes and workshops and health and wellness programs; and - advance education by operating early childhood development and education centres.
