Jewish Federation of Edmonton

The society exists to preserve and strengthen the quality of jewish life in edmonton northern albreta canada israel and around the world through leadership in philanthropic volunteer and professional activities. The society shall centralize and co-ordinate the solicitation collection of and disbursement of funds and shall receive hold and maintain property of every description of every description of jewish charitable religious cultural social recreational and educational purposes; shall administer apportion expend and disburse said funds and property and the income there from for such purposes and no other amongst appropriate recipients. The society shall foster promote and carry on charitable religious and social services cultural recreational work; and educational work; and to co-operate and assist in planning co-ordinating harmonizing and works with appropriate community organizations.
