Jbay Animal Resources Society

Our main program involves scholarships & related things to enable mainly girls to continue studying at the high school or college level. The students are closely monitored regarding their grades & receive advice & help with time management study habits nutrition vitamins deworming & receive solar lights or low energy requirement light bulbs as needed. They often ask for life advice from our councilors. Their families are able to have low interest micro loans for things like energy efficient stoves starting small businesses or raising chickens pigs etc. All the students are required to do community service in their vacation time & often choose to coach younger children to upgrade school subjects. There was no activity for the year 2024 but we are expecting to return to charitable programs in the new year 2025. We provide medical supplies & equipment to nurses & student nurses as well as several health centres.
