Ongoing programs -provide prayer hall at 375 somerset street west ottawa on -provide pastoral counseling and supply books and prayer rugs to the inmate care program in eastern onatrio institutions particularly the ottawa carleton detention centre; provides information to the general public and participate in programs fo r seniors and the disabled and disadvantaged; provide family assistance services and reach out to new immigrants counseling youth in conflict wit h the law; and partner with the children aid society and centre town community and health centre to support their programs;support the sadaqa food bank project and provides cooked food at the supper table of st. Joseph church laurier ave. Ottawa. Islam care centre is actively pursuing the main objective of building the new property at 312 lisgar street engaging with city hall and agents in the construction industry and in fund raising.
