To advance religion and spiritual education among our members and the general public in the Ottawa and Outaouais region we have: maintained a temple at 212 Somerset St. E; conducted daily worship and prayer service; held regular programs (in person and online via Zoom) providing teachings of holy scriptures and singing God's name; provided educational religious study groups; distributed sanctified vegetarian food and knowledge about it; provided a library service of religious books located within our temple; distributed spiritual books and literatures; held special events and religious festivals throughout the year. Hosting Spiritual retreats for community members (approx. 200). Inviting internationally known guest speakers. Monthly outreach festivals where our members go out into the community to chant distribute spiritual food and distribute books on Yoga and meditation. We would collaborate with other local faith groups to serve the community. As well we launched a meal plan program (tiffins) for students and members of the neighbourhood.
