International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON Milton)

In June 2022 ISKCON Milton purchased a condo unit to use as a place of worship. It's main activities were to propagate Krishna (God) consciousness to the public in general. It's activities involved mantra meditation Vedic education bhakti yoga Deity worship books & literature distribution congregational chanting free food distribution propagation of the ancient Vedic culture & teachings and other general charitable activities for everyone. We continued our annual parade and park festival that we began in a humble way back in 2019. The festival began with a parade along Derry Road in the Town of Milton and ended in Milton Sports Center Park. The aim of this festival was to once again reach out to people regardless of gender cast creed or religious affiliations. The main activities in the park included free food distribution and cultural presentations such as yoga hymn chanting meditation Indian classical dance and dramatic presentations by our youth. We once again welcomed the local MP MPP several town councilors and this year the Mayor of the Town of Milton.
