International Development and Relief Foundation

The international development and relief foundation ( the 'foundation') is a canadian-based registered charitable organization dedicated to empowering the disadvantaged people of the world. Idrf provides effective humanitarian aid and sustainable development programs without discrimination based on the principles of human dignity self reliance and social justice. Idrf works in collaboration and consultation with local and international humanitarian actors around the world to both fund and directly implement programming in the following sectors: emergency relief and humanitarian assistance; water sanitation and hygiene; education and training; health and health promotion; poverty alleviation through economic development; community development; and food access and nutrition support.
