Innisfail and District Historical Society

The Society operates the Historical Village in Innisfail an accredited Alberta Museum of local history and culture on a 2.5 acre park setting with historical buildings and displays of artifacts and information pertaining to the history and culture of Innisfail and area. The facility is open from May to September to the general public and for special events and tours during the rest of the year. The Society provides tours school programs community events and fund raisers that contribute to the general operating and maintenance of the grounds buildings and artifacts. The Society provides information about the First Nations People who lived in the area as well as an extensive agricultural program.
