The sunday community services is held weekly for those who wish to attend in-person and on zoom. There is a 45-minute meditation service week on monday wednesday and friday. We offer philosphy/discussion session lead by our senior ministers with a question-and-answer session every second month. Some topics that have been discussed have been archetypes spiritual healing and consciousnes. The ministry team continues to be very active with visits to long term care facilities hospice and the local hospitals. There has been an increase in ministerial/counseling appointments for bereavement mental health issue and family issues. Our current volunteer roster is 16 people and from september 2023 to august 2024 our volunteers have contributed 2000 hours. Tasks include setting up for our sunday community gathering chairing of sunday gatherings leading the healing mediation at the sunday gathering technology set-up building and garden maintenance. The book club meets every four months. The books read over the last fiscal year include - atomic habits eyes wide open - cultivating discernment on a spiritual path and telephone calls from the dead. A major fundraising event is held in the fall for anawim house. Our members bring in non-perishable food items produce and there is a soup fund raiser with all proceeds go towards purchasing gift cards from save-on-foods. Walk the walk is a spiritual sunsistence program of inspiration and motivation that will help one work through problems and improve one's emotional and spiritual health. Each of the universal spiritual and metaphysical principles gives one the tools to tap into one's strengths and to aid one in unfolding the spirit within.
