Settlement and integration - support immigrants and their families to understand navigate and access bc's social and economic systems in order to ensure their successful settlement and integration into bc's communities. This program also includes the language instruction for newcomers to canada (linc) which provides basic to intermediate level english training for adult newcomers to canada. Skills connect for immigrants- help newcomers permanent residents (within 5 years in canada) having and intermediate level english language to upgrade their skills and find the perfect employment fit. Local immigration partnership (lip)- supports partnerships collaboration leveraging of resources and expertise in communities to support diversity and build a welcoming and inclusive enviroment. Multicultualism and anti-racism-provides workshops and public education activites to promote multiculturalism racial harmony and to eliminate racism.
