The ignatius jesuit centre cultivates spiritual growth and ecological engagement welcoming a global community of people who seek to integrate their inner and outer life with all creation. We provide programs that foster an ecological way of life for the healing of the world; nurture a deeper spirituality in people leading to inner freedom; promote the production of local sustainable food; provide a welcoming space for individual & communal discernment and education. The ignatius old growth forest project is a 500 year ecological and educational restoration initiative to protect 94 acres of forest and adjacent wetlands in perpetuity through a protected conservation easement. The ignatius farm a model for organic agriculture since 2001 offers a community shared agriculture (csa) program and mentors and trains farm interns in the practices and principles of organic agriculture. Loyola house retreats and ignatian training has been offering retreats and programs to people of all faiths since 1964.
