A. To educate the public and increase public awareness about the causes and effects of and treatments for diabetes by offering courses seminars conferences and meetings and by collecting and disseminating information on that topic. B. To advance education by providing classes on the subjects of healthy diet and nutrition to the general public. C. To undertake activities ancillary and incidental to the attainment of the above charitable purposes. D. To recieve and maintain a fund or funds and to apply all or part of the principal and income therefrom from time to time to qualified donees as defined in subsection 149.1(1) of the income tax act (canada).
