Igb-csa was launched with a primary mandate to use social media peer-to-peer interactions and live events to connect 2slgbtq+ youth to: 1) positive stories and messages that inspire hope 2) practical tools and resources that help youth address the challenges of growing up 2slgbtq+ 3) a broader community of peers and caring adults to support youth as they strive to express and celebrate their authentic selves igb-csa continues to deliver youth-led affirming content through out digital channels including our website instagram facebook youtube tiktok and twitch. Our content is designed to guide and support y outh as they navigate their sexual orientationand gender identity journeys. Empowering workshops: it gets better canada offers workshops delivered both virtually and in-person supporting 2slgbtq+ youth as they navigate anti-2slgbtq+ bullying as well as digital advocacy/literacy. True voices grants: an annual micro-grant offered by it gets better canada to public high schools across canada. The grant funds 2slgbtq+ youth-led storytelling initiatives. Youth advisory committee: an annual cohort of 2slgbtq+ youth (aged 18-24) from across canada who act as advisors and ambassadors for our programs and mission while embarking on professional development and advocacy training opportunities.
