iDE programs support entrepreneurs and small businesses in developing countries to deliver affordable products and services that improve the lives of poor rural and marginalized populations. Solutions include agricultural equipment inputs and extension; clean water and sanitation; waste management; and prescription eyeglasses. Activities include: identifying high-potential solutions and entrepreneurs; development of entrepreneurs through training and business tools; brokering connections to local market actors; monitoring implementation and evaluating the impact of programs. We educate and engage fellow Canadians about international development through events tours and literature.
