Huronia museum continued to deliver quality education programs both curriculum-based and mandate based. Programming continued to trend along with outreach becoming an even more popular option both in schools and with community interest groups. The museum continued to offer programming in its facility encouraging visitation with its usual programming such as the summer programming for children easter programming learning workshops and general public programming. The collections department continued to make additions to the museum’s collection. The museum’s curator also continued to audit the condition of the collection with items not long meeting the museum’s mandate being deaccessioned. Highlights from the year’s ongoing programming included festival of lights indigenous history and culture programming for indigenous day on june 21st and indigenous arts and culture awareness week in september. This year the museum offered 'paint with your dog workshop' an event to celebrate the addition of a new group of seven painting to the museum’s collection dinner and learning event celebrating the grey and simcoe foresters’ anniversary atlatls workshops a heritage boat show and christmas home tour.
