Huron Perth Agricultural Science Centre

The establishment of an agricultural science centre for the purpose of educating about agriculture and related topics. Activities carried out during the year included: - obtain an updated business plan with financial projections and building recommendations - registered a trade name and rebranded the future facility as the Ontario Agri-Food Discovery Centre - secure land for the future building from the Municipality of North Perth - Bring on an independent contractor to support administrative work and applying for grants - host an information meeting about the facility with local business owners We continue to work on raising our profile among the community obtaining donations toward the initial planning phase of the building and obtaining memberships to assist with administrative costs.
