Hummingbirds Canada: the National Hummingbird Project

Hummingbirds Canada conducts scientific research related to hummingbirds in Canada to add to the common knowledge base. New information is shared with the public and other organizations with similar goals. Hummingbirds Canada educates people of all ages and backgrounds through public presentations and informal learning opportunities both in groups and individually. Education is also provided by responding to questions via email and telephone. These activities are conducted by volunteers who donate over 1 000 hours of time each year. no new programs
