Hornby and Denman Community Health Care Society

Hornby and Denman Community Health Care Society continues to provide a variety of programs and services to residents of Hornby and Denman Islands and the Comox Valley. Home Assist provides services to assist seniors to remain living in their own homes and communities such as housekeeping grocery shopping friendly visiting and transportation. A weekly Seniors programs include physical and social activities and a hot lunch. Child Youth & Family programming includes child and youth mental health counselling family support and youth outreach services. Adult Outreach and Counselling services help islanders with mental health and substance use support. Equipment loan cupboards on each island lend mobility aids to islanders of all ages. The Hornby Hamper program delivers hampers to individuals and families at holiday time. The Comox Valley Better at Home provides non-medical support to assist seniors including a volunteer transportation service.
