About Hopes Rise
Hopes rise champions club is a stand alone after school program. We invest in children living in poverty to change their physical mental and social health cognitive development and academic success. Our program was launched december 3 2019 at santa maria public school in weston ontario to 60 students from grades 1 to 6. Through the champions club program we have impacted 260 students from grade 1 to 6 with 130 volunteers since our inception in 2019. The 2024 program was conducted weekly on wednesday's from 3:30 to 5:30 with a successful champions club 3 km run on june 12th as part of this signature event all students received a new pair of saucony running shoes. Our annual 12 week program impacts 60 students supported by 25 volunteers.
