Hope place centres (hps) was formed on may 4 2004 as an amalgamation of hope place women's treatment centre and halton recovery house. The organization operates in the region of halton however bedded services remain a provincial resource. In collaboration with community partners hpc provides gender-responsive trauma-informed addictions treatment and recovery services. The 18 bed 'live-in' facility offers rolling admissions between 35-45 day duration: dependent on individual need goals preferences and acuity level. The community program offers outpatient programs for women who are pregnant or parenting children under 6 years of age and who are experiencing addiction related issues. Additionally we offer a family program that offers family counselling psychoeducation and family peer support sessions to individuals uniquely affected by addiction.
