Hope international development agency's activities focus on communities in the less-developed world experiencing poverty isolation and other vulnerabilities - specifically in cambodia dominican republic dr congo ethiopia guatemala haiti honduras india myanmar nepal pakistan philippines rwanda south sudan sri lanka in the following programs: 1. Developing social capacity and physical infrastructure (e.g. Water sanitation hygiene and health; school and vocational education; microfinance and livelihoods; land and environment; agriculture and food security; gender-based activities including protection education and empowerment); 2. Providing emergency relief and rehabilitation (e.g. Food shelter re- establishment of livelihoods; reconstruction protection) in areas suffering from natural or human disasters; 3. Facilitating the distribution of donated quality medicines medical supplies and equipment; 4. Provision of education opportunities for members of the public/volunteers to engage with people in less-developed locations in the world in addition to ongoing programs in the above countries new programs commencing in 2024 included: - humanitarian /disaster relief in pakistan - school equipment construction and/or support in cambodia dr congo ethiopia philippines rwanda myanmar and south sudan - school equipment construction and/or support in nepal - land food and environment programming in cambodia dr congo ethiopia and sri lanka - sexual and reproductive health education for vulnerable girls in dr congo economic empowerment through increased skills and access to capital and viable and appropriate livelihoods in cambodia dr congo ethiopia myanmar and south sudan - health supplies and systems in dr congo myanmar pakistan and honduras –equipment construction and support for a maternity clinic in dr congo.
