Hope in the Dark

Similar to 2023 in the past year we operated two centers in Colombia. The first one is in the city of Bucaramanga where we provide a safe place for up to 100 children who live in surrounding slums. We provide free daily nutritious meals for the children Bible studies for the children extracurricular activities/ after school program homework support/ tutoring and on an as-needed basis school supplies and uniforms. We also provide counselling and psychological services to the kids and their parents. Our second center is located in the city of Cartagena Colombia and it follows the same model of our center in Bucaramanga. We serve approximately 70 children and several single moms in this center. In addition to the services we provided to the population we serve between the 2 centers we employed 14 staff last year including cooks psychologists teachers coordinators and 1 director. There is no new program for this charity in 2024.
