Hope in shadows supports employment training for marginalized persons. Programs include a free vendor program to train resource and support marginalized individuals with a focus on people experiencing poverty and homelessness to earn money by sell selling megaphone magazines and hope in shadows calendars on the streets of vancouver; free writing workshops to empower marginalized individuals to develop creative writing and journalism skills; and free public speaking and public engagement training for marginalized individuals to address stigma around homelessness poverty drug use and other barriers. 15 volunteers contributed approximately 790 hours spend on program delivery.
