Hope house provides poverty alleviation through various programs over the year including: cafe clothing market counselling meal preparation food market food skill development hair salon community garden system navigation support services income tax program employment skills development affordable gift market dental support horticultural therapy a guelph community backpack project and distribution of surplus items to other poverty alleviation organizations in the area we also have a partnership with an organization (eggpreneur) in kenya to support low income women to generate revenue for families through agricultural businesses. Art etc is a drop-in art program that operates every saturday and the seniors' community food markets that distribute free food to individuals through markets held in their apartment buildings owned by the county of wellington.
