Hope Centre Ministries Inc.

Hope Centre Ministries provides spiritual care and belonging for individuals with disabilities. The ministry offers regular programs such as bible study fellowship group retreats volunteer drop in mission/service opportunities and parent support group. There is a combination of in-person and online programs. Friendship from Home is a weekly Bible study for individuals with disabilities. Attendees are given special at-home kits to make the Zoom program interactive. Monthly worship gatherings and bi-weekly fellowship groups happen in-person. The ministry also maintains a Care Program which consists of monthly mail outs Birthday acknowledgements and care visits as needed. Hope Centre Ministries took initial first steps towards starting a social franchise/program that will provide care and belonging through the dignity of permanent part-time employment for individuals who because of disability/mental health experience barriers towards employment. In 2024 the steps that were taken included signing an affiliate agreement with The Raw carrot a faith based social enterprise in Ontario.
