Historica Canada

Historica canada is the country's largest organization dedicated to enhancing awareness of canadian history and citizenship. Our programs all offered bilingually reach more than eight million canadians annually. The product of a 2009 merger between the historica foundation of canada and the dominion institute our goal is to bring history to life with rich and compelling stories of national interest. Some of our programs include the memory project which invites veterans and canadian forces members to share their military experience through an online archive and speakers bureau; heritage minutes dramatized vignettes that recreate events of great importance accomplishment and bravery in our country's history; the canadian encyclopedia a free bilingual online resource with more than 19 000 articles the largest collection of authored and continuously updated articles focused on canada; and more.
