Hilltop House Support Society

Friday night dinners was the society’s major contribution to the residents thorught this year. Regual bus trips for outings sight seeing and events severly reduced from our usual functions and were cancelled between may 28th and september 10th as vancovuer coastal health (vch) woulr no longer allow volunteer transport the residents in our bus vch. Employee were not made avalibale throughout the spring and summer. This situation was extremely disappointing for the residents and their families. Drivers are the society supported the implementation of new music therapy program. Including hand chimes. This was very successful and will continue in the future as vsh has hired a music therapist to run an ongoing program for the residents.
