1. Land stewardship: ongoing maintenance of heron rocks land buildings and orchards with emphasis on conservation and community use. 2. Programming: annual newsletter speaker series 3. Youth programs: supports youth in arts environmental leadership programs and post secondary education. 4. Water stewardship: island wide research into water quality; education on water conservation and quality maintain ditch water enhancement project. 5. Maintain a peace garden a tranquil area for public enjoyment and horticultural education. 6. Ford orchard project and hrfcs orchard: support and renewal of heritage orchards for education and food security.
