Community Integration Programming: Providing seasonal cultural events tours and partnerships with local families ('Friendship Families') to foster belonging and reduce isolation. Community Dinners and Local Events: Hosting regular community dinners to address international food insecurity loneliness and opportunities for volunteers to support the international student community. Career Mentorship: Connecting international students with local professionals for one-on-one or group mentorship sessions to help students gain Canadian workplace cultural experience and natural networking opportunities. Volunteer Mobilization: Recruiting and equipping volunteers across the HIS network (Individuals Churches Community Groups) to engage effectively to service international students with hospitality mentorship and community programming. National Infrastructure through digital services: Maintain a national web platform to provide access to local and national resources volunteer registration systems and program information for 11 cities across Canada. Acts as the organizations CRM student engagement tracking marketing base and information gathering. Assisted in the second iteration of 'Hamilton Welcomes the World' a collaborative event between the three post-secondary institutions in Hamilton and the City's EcDev office to welcome all new incoming international students to the city of Hamilton.
