We address specific needs presented by social agencies and individual residents by recruiting and providing volunteers to assist the vulnerable citizens that are needing help. We also work to help inform residents that there are opportunities available for them to help locally. The Services offered are: *Caring Neighbours Program - assistance with moves post-surgery help cleaning visitation respite childcare etc. *Snow Helper Program - snow removal for vulnerable residents low income ill injured and elderly *Volunteer Driver Program - rides for medical and essential appointments *Summer Do Crew - lawn care for low income ill injured and elderly *Meal Team - meal preparation and donation for families in crisis *Food Drive - to help restock the local Food Bank with donations for hampers *Meals to Your Freezer - Connecting Meals on Wheels to Cochrane by picking up orders and delivering them to clients *Free Food Shed - Community food exchange program offering a location to take what you need and give what you can to eliminate food insecurity and food waste *Seniors Check In Program - Connecting volunteers with isolated senior to provide connection and support
