Help Fill a Dream Foundation of Canada

Help fill a dream is a charitable foundation that fosters hope and happiness for vancouver island children with life-threatening conditions by fulfilling dreams helping families and improving quality of life. 'dream' means the request of the child applicant and may include things such as but not limited to a trip celebrity meeting or a tangible object such as a computer. 'family assistance' means assistance provided to families in order to ease the burden of unexpected costs and challenges associated with the child's condition. 'quality of life initiatives' provide focused funding to improve a child's mobility health and well-being or may address the needs of individuals or groups of unspecified children living with life-threatening conditions. Bear essentials program is operated in partnership with the children's health foundation of vancouver island. The program supports vancouver island kids who have medical conditions health challenges or disablilities. This program provides support covering; travel costs associated with receiving health care that is unavailable in a child/youth's home community. Medical or therapeutic equipment to address special needs. Therapeutic resources not publicy offered to a child/youth in need.
