Harvey Station Pastoral Charge

Provides religious services each Sunday and on religious holidays pastoral care and outreach within the community and maintains special programming for religious education of children and youth depending on attendance. Minister to the sick elderly and shut-ins. Provide a meeting place for church purposes and other community organizations (eg. Music Festival 4H). Donate funds to the United Church Mission and Service Fund; provide continued support for the local food bank on a monthly basis with a drive-through drop off of food items from the church and broader community. Support local charities by collecting and delivering personal care items and small clothing/comfort items to organizations such as the Fredericton Transition House the Homeless Shelter etc. The minister conducts weddings baptisms communion services confirmations and funeral services for church members affiliated families and members of the broader community. The Minister also provides support and leadership guidance to the various church groups. Many church members and affiliated persons volunteer countless hours of time and effort to support the church in its activities. Increased outreach programming to foster relationships across the broader community
