Habs is now entering its 25th year of operations on zanzibar offering free health care and education to those in need. Our focus is on youth who have not completed their secondary school education and in fact sometimes their primary education. In addition we are also continuing our awareness trainings in healthcare gender violence and environmental education. The jambiani tourism training institute (jtti) continues to provide free educational services and training for local students in tourism and hospitality free english and math upgrade classes and free hot lunches for our students. The average age is about 20 years old and we are still seeing a large number of female students. The jambiani wellness centre is also continuing an provides free healthcare from a zanzibari physiotherapist. We continue to receive funding from stitching shareandwonder an ngo based in haarlem netherlands. We have started to offer the students the opportunity to return and complete the second certificate program so they can have certifcations in food and beverage as well as front front office
