The church out reaches to the members of the ethiopian orthodox and other community members with the teaching of spiritual being -provides spiritual counseling to the youth so that they can avoid and stay away from using alcohol and addictive drug substances -provides seminars to the youth so that they will be productive to the society in particular and their communities in general -as a charitable organization the church is engaged in helping the elderly and needy wherever deemed necessary the church established a sponsorship program in collaboration of the office of immigration canada to provide incoming refugees in order to help them cover expenses for one year upon arrival
