Halton Women's Place

We operate two emergency shelters in Halton Region for abused women and their dependent children. Staff are on duty 24/7 and meals clothing information transportation and other related services are available. We operate a 24 hour crisis telephone line and an online web chat counselling service. We provide transitional support to clients as well as community referrals and court support. We have educators that present to Halton Region classrooms regarding healthy relationships either in person or through online platforms. We have a partnership with a housing provider to provide transitional housing for clients leaving the shelter.
