Halton Environmental Network advances education about environmental issues with a focus on climate change providing strategies and opportunities for mitigation and adaptation and by providing educational programs events workshops research and training for the community of Halton. - We deliver educational workshops to promote and increase local sustainable food production - We provide garden workshops and support to help faith communities reduce their environmental impact - We offer environmental film screenings - We conduct research on strategies for climate change mitigation and adaptation - We give workshops to help faith communities reduce their environmental impact - We support a reading campaign to educate Halton residents on various aspects of climate change and to inspire them to take personal action. - We create and deliver K-12 curriculum-based workshops and climate education tools - We educate and inspire climate action in youth through the Generation Green program - We provide Eco-camp programming to support youth climate change learning and education
