(1) charitable activities that the charity carries out on its own through employees volunteers or intermediaries and (2) qualifying disbursements that the charity makes through gifts to qualified donees or grants to non-qualified donees (grantees). Charities making qualifying disbursements should describe the types of organizations they support. The charity may also use this space to describe the contributions of its volunteers in carrying out its activities for example number of volunteers and/or hours.
