Haida Gwaii Higher Education Society

The charity was financially dormant through 2024 other than to maintain it's society status and bank accounts. Directors were active as volunteers in a support role to the Haida Gwaii Institute (HGI) team who deliver post secondary online and in person programming; support focused on the objective of delivering outstanding educational programs for students from Haida Gwaii and the rest of the world and engaging residents and the communities of Haida Gwaii in HGI programs. Activities included recommendations for current and future programming networking with community and others attending HGI events and supporting the establishment of partnerships with like minded organizations.
