1. To help those in need: a) free hot meals daily in the morning and evenings; b) providing shelter to the needy on a temporary basis. 2. Spiritual guidance and education as per sikh faith: to follow on the teachings of the ten guru's; to provide help and guidance to enable those who may have drifted away from the sikh panth to return; to provide a place for education for the cummunity in spirtual ethical and other sikh morals; to provide a space where the community can gather for wholesome social interaction; ultimately to promote the sikh religion sikh brotherhood and all aspects of sikh culture including teaching language music and philosophies of the sikhs; provide spirtual guidance in meditation; community sawa following the principle of (vand shakana) sharing food (langer)
