Greater St. Albert Catholic Schools Education Foundation

The Foundation was able to host its' second annual Golf Tournament and to hold another 50/50 online raffle as the two primary fundraising events in 2024. Both of these events were successful and helped with the work of the Foundation. The Foundation provided two opportunities (one awarded) for Grade 12 Scholarships to graduating students from the Greater St. Albert Roman Catholic School Division to support their post-secondary studies as well as four Grade 9 Scholarships for students entering grade 10 within the Division. Scholarship Applications were reviewed by a selection committee and recommendations were supported by the Executive. The Foundation continued to provide funds to school-based groups for enhanced learning projects to support K-12 students at a higher amount than the previous year. Groups once again had to apply and meet the criteria set out in the application instructions as communicated and posted on the Foundation website. Applications were reviewed by a selection committee and recommendations were supported by the Executive. Five school-based groups (four different projects) were provided with funds in 2024 for enhanced learning projects. No new programs for 2024
