We are a charity dedicated to strengthening the foundations of communities. We do this by nurturing the potential of children teens and young adults promoting healthy living and fostering social responsibility. Our focus on inclusiveness and accessibility means we serve people of all ages backgrounds and abilities through all stages of life. Through YMCA financial assistance programs the YMCA is accessible to all. Our core offerings include Childcare Camping Aquatics Health & Fitness Education Employment Services Volunteer Development Global Initiatives Community Initiatives and Opportunities to Give. Programs: Provide licensed childcare for 2 to 12 yr olds; Provide health and wellness programs for all ages and all financial circumstances; Provide life skills and social programs daily to older adults with special needs; Provide counselling for the homeless and those at risk through our street outreach program; Provide a summer camp for recreation and leadership development; Provide Alternative to Suspension for local schools; PlusOne youth mentor program; Provide drop-in services to youth; YCAN Leadership Program; and Youth Outreach at our North End facility
