We provide car seat installation checks with education for caregivers in our community to keep kids safe from injury from vehicle collisions. We created and delivered the brainsavers helmet safety program which provides education on proper helmet use and a free bicycle helmet to families in need. It also allows families to trade in a damaged or expired helmet for education and a new free helmet. This allows us to reach people the otherwise avoid safety education and also encourages parents to use helmets.in addition it promotes safe use of bicycles and scooters and encourages active transportation supporting positive health benefits and reduced injuries. We provide the gift of safety car seat program as a partner of buckle up for life to provide 50 free car seats with passenger safety education to families in need in our community.we provide safety story time at the local library to promote safety by reading books about safety to children to educate and promote safe habits.
