Jurors selected the artwork for the touring exhibition. Gathered the winning artwork and installed the exhibition at its opening venue Kootenay Gallery of Arts in Castlegar BC. Produced a catalogue of the exhibition. Judged the artwork and awarded 5 prizes totaling $6099. Facilitated an opening/award ceremony at Kootenay Gallery of Arts on June 8 2024. Exhibition ran from June 8 - July 27 2024. Announced the call for entry to the 2026/2027 touring exhibition and started advertising for artists to enter. Toured the exhibition to two other venues in 2024 United Community Arts in Pilot Mound MB from August 8 - Sept 25 2024 and Woodstock Art gallery from October 12 2024 continuing into 2025 to January 25 2025. Facilitated an opening ceremony at the Woodstock Art Gallery on Oct 19 2024. We have 9 active committee members volunteering over 2800 hrs in 2024. Continued touring the 2024/2025 touring exhibition at Woodstock Art Gallery until January 25 2025 then moving it on to Saint John Arts Centre in Saint John NB from March 14 - April 25 2025. Facilitate the return of all artwork. Continue plans for the 2026/2027 touring exhibition by advertising the call for entry solicite venues prizes and operating capital. Run the entry process and start the process for the artwork selection taking place in Jan 2026.
