Global Children of Hope

We assist newly arrived immigrants and refugees who are looking establish themselves in peel district and york district and york region areas. Assist families with assimilation into canadian society. We help with finding schools jobs housing furniture health services english language classes. We educate them on hygiene body odor grooming and dressing for the interview in the appropriate attire. We also provide them with the necessary clothes and accessories to needed to go to an interview. These programs is currently run by 2 volunteers that work from home. We make daily phone calls to ensure they are in good health. The seniors call us and notify us a week ahead of when they need assistance with grocery shopping and medical appointments we then schedule a volunteer to accompany them to the appointment and.or do their shopping for them deliver and put away their groceries. We also would make food at home and deliver it to persons of need we have been assisting seniors with moving if they are disabled and not able to do it themselves we assist with packing decluttering and also to those who have passed away.
