Girls Incorporated of Durham

Girls Incorporated of Durham offers curriculum-based in school classes after school programs summer and March Break day camps workshops seminars and community events designed for the unique needs of girls ages 6 to 18. We inspire all girls to be strong smart and bold through advocacy education and programs. Our program facilitators are professionally trained and lead girls through a safe nurturing experience. Girls Inc. has provided programs in school partnership with Durham District School Board for over 9 years. Girls Inc. also has administrated the Canada Prenatal Nutrition Program for Durham Region since 2005. Due to the global pandemic some of our programming and services were offered in a hybrid and online setting using ZOOM as well as text messaging services to continue to offer services during lock down. We continued to provide weekly food distribution to our most vulnerable families and Canada Prenatal Nutrition participants.
