Preserve & sustain the culture heritage & history associated with the icelandic settlements in manitoba through involvement and hosting of icelandic events. Provide bursaries to children attending the local icelandic camp dedicated to increasing awareness of icelandic culture language history + heritage. Maintain & commemerate significant sites cemeteries settlements through written communication events & involvement. Support other organizations within our community who have a similar mandate.
