Georgetown Little Theatre Productions Inc. has continued its objective of bringing top quality live theatre to Halton Hills and surrounding area. Our November show combined our adult company with our youth company to present 'Through The Looking Glass' a play written by two of our members. We did not present a show in February but gave the time and rehearsal space to our Film club. They presented workshops which were open to our members and the public. The April show was a big success with audience members. Our Youth Company presented their One-Act Festival at the end of April bringing in new youth members. Its difficult to account for the volunteer hours (we are all volunteers) as there are rehearsals set building costume sewing/fittings properties collected/built makeup and hair designed plus technical week 4 full performances and the number of actors per show. An estimate per show would be 1 700 to 2 000. We have re-established our Improv Club and have held play writing workshops on Friday nights during the summer months. We continue working on building our audience base and membership.
