Gentle Path Counselling Services LTD

Our mandate continued to provide residents of Saint John and southern NB with professional counseling and support groups in keeping with our mission to 'create a place where all are welcome regardless of financial means.' Our Counselors provided hundreds of hours on fully subsidized and partly subsidized one on one counseling sessions for low income families children and adults. A long standing weekly Codependency support group continued throughout the year. The Parent Program at The Crow's Nest: This program is delivered by a team of specialists offering short term solutions focused support counselling for parent/caregivers. This service is best suited for families who are facing a specific issue needing psychoeducation providing positive communication strategies setting effective boundaries preparing families for crisis situations help in engaging youth in treatment establishing parenting confidence enhancing caregivers’ self-efficacy and promoting self-care.
