1) gems for gems christmas jewelry drive- collecting cleaning and donating gently used jewelry to women in shelters at christmas 2) thrive series- survivors empowerment series of presentations covering self defense financial literacy coping mechanisms and inspirtion. 3) gems for gems scholarship program- launched in 2018 gems for gems has partnered with colleges and other educational institutions to provide scholarships attainable in under 12 months which are awarded to candidates from these shelters. 4)hope's cradle- hope's cradle is a collaborative initative to support mothers in need and save infants from unsafe abandonment. Gems supplies all of the hardware and partners with community partners to provide the location for a ' cradle' for the baby to be surrendered to. When a baby is placed in hope's cradle it will be considered a surrender. Provided the baby is healthy there will be zero repercussions for the person who choose this safe option.
